Turning imagination into reality
From first principles to final execution, our design department take great care to
ensure each element of the design process is discussed and debated until our designers
and architects are satisfied that we are creating places where people want to live,
work or relax.
By which time our team is ready to create efficient and effective designs that make up a Redrow development and the
properties it contains. Whether it’s garden plans or garages, lintels or local architectural styles, drains or doorjambs, every
element in the house-building process is carefully considered. As part of our commitment to design excellence we are
involved with the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE), which acts as a government advisor
on architecture, urban design and public space, encouraging policymakers to create places to live that truly work for people.
And Redrow has established a new Urban Design Centre in Northampton that will work in partnership with Redrow’s
operating companies to add value by delivering consistent, high quality solutions, optimising site potential end value and
reducing delivery times through a proactive approach with local communities and planning authorities.
At Redrow we employ an urban design philosophy, which means we specialise in
creating quality places and spaces to live in that truly work for people.
